Free Summer Education Opportunities

Please join your NCBA colleagues this summer in either Portland or Seattle for a day, or two, of learning, sharing and networking. These sessions are NOT for managers only, so please encourage your staff to attend! We’ll be offering two sessions in each location, one day focused on Course Materials and one on General Merchandise. You may sign up for one or both days.

  • Q & A – bring your challenges for this sharing session
  • Preparing for the new college student customer

  • What’s next in course materials? 


General Merchandise Session Agenda:

  • Show and tell and new trends in GM – bring some favorites for ‘show and tell’
  • Merchandising & promotions
  • Buying best practices (inventory and turn goals, vendors, markdowns)
  • Q & A – bring your challenges for this sharing session
